My role as Strategic Partnerships Director for the Mayor's Office of the National Western Center includes leveraging the investment being made by the City of Denver and attracting partners who can help realize the vision outlined in the National Western Center Master Plan.• Directed strategic sustainability initiatives for a $765 million capital build program redeveloping a 250-acre infill site near downtown Denver (in close coordination with Jacobs as the City’s Program Manager).• Led a multidisciplinary team to procure a campus energy partner and execute a suite of agreements among six parties resulting in a $185 million, 40-year design-build-finance-operate-maintain contract to deliver district heating and cooling powered by North America’s largest wastewater heat recovery system.• Positioned the NWC campus to host multiple rooftop community solar gardens. • Managed engagement with Xcel Energy to establish the NWC as a host site for a community resiliency microgrid owned and operated by Xcel.• Led the City’s participation in the Department of Energy’s Zero Energy District Accelerator initiative and the Connected Communities Grant application.• Successfully planned and negotiated an $11M partnership agreement between the City and County of Denver and Metro Wastewater Reclamation District to relocate and bury two large wastewater pipes, opening up land for a new open space greenway along the South Platte River.• Provided internal support toward several citywide energy and sustainability policy initiatives• Participated in dozens of speaking engagements spanning a wide range of audiences. • Member of citywide Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team. -
