Background/Experience: Peter brings over 30 years of experience in business mergers & acquisitions, accounting, and tax. Peter began his career as a Certified Public Accountant in the audit department and later specialized in taxation. Peter has over 13 years of public accounting experience working for both major international CPA firms and a local firm. As a Certified Public Accountant, Peter has extensive experience consulting clients in structuring acquisitions to arrive at the most beneficial tax and accounting results to the client. Peter was hired by one of his public accounting clients as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of a rapidly growing telecommunications company. Along with experience dealing with all aspects of running a business, accounting, and taxes, Peter has extensive experience in buying and selling businesses including due diligence, purchase contracts, negotiations, financing, and integration of acquired businesses. Peter was instrumental in attracting a $100 million equity and loan facility from several prominent private equity firms and large banks to finance the growth of the company. Peter has a Masters in Business from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University, Northridge. Peter’s knowledge and experience in consulting in business acquisitions along with being on both the buying and selling side uniquely enables Peter to provide practical experience to clients throughout and after the buying or selling process.
