Nowadays, I spend most of my days thinking about and working on GCC Data Protection laws, particularly the KSA PDPL. I have run complete privacy programmes for several clients in Saudi, Qatar and Oman and am working currently with nearly a dozen more. I am a data protection specialist with more than 15 years' experience in central and local government in and around London; the NHS; regulatory bodies; major UK charities; and since 2018 the private sector, including tech start ups, banks and digital and marketing companies. I live and work between the Middle East, Pakistan and the UK. I hold IAPP's CIPP/E, CIPM and BCS' Data Protection Practitioner certificates as well as OneTrust certificates. I am highly experienced with the #GDPR, #UK GDPR, #KSA #GCC #PDPL and other data protection regimes.I was on the British Standards Institute Committee for the GDPR update to the the data protection standard, BS 10012:2017.
