Working alone, I was brought on to finish delivery of new features to an existing ASP.Net MVC web application. This included updating a number of reports for Reporting Services in ASP.Net and producing cut-down versions of these for specific scenarios. After these new features were delivered, I was tasked with creating an API for a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that another developer was working on. Using .Net Core 3.1, I created a back-end API to support the PWA using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for authentication and writing custom authentication code to allow the old credential store to be used by the modern framework.
