On a mission to make healthcare a better experience using digital technologies for more than 2 decades. Excited to be part of leadership in a venture focused on improving patient experience across the healthcare ecosystem in my current role.Journey on this mission started with an innovative solution called 'Virtual Family Visit' in 1999, where we conceptualized and built a personalized patient portal to enable families of patients admitted to a cardiac hospital in Bangalore. At the time, I was an early internet entrepreneur of a start up called Think Ahead. Exited Think Ahead in 2010 by selling the outsourcing business to an investor and decided to completely focus on healthcare. Attempted a start up to build a CRM Platform for Healthcare until 2012 building a stack for mobile apps, QR code based interaction and patient portals, failed to make it commercially successful.Crossed over to client side by taking up a virtual CIO role with Ramesh Hospitals in Vijayawada and then taking up a Head of Technology role with St John's Medical College, Bangalore from 2016. Enjoyed being in the trenches and tackling challenges on the ground working closely with clinicians and operations team at the hospital. Moved the needle on early adoption of advanced IoT and AI technologies for patient care and digital for operational efficiency and patient care.Went back to being a founder, starting Human Centric Healthcare Ecosystem to engage with stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem as a digital transformation consultant to KIMS Hyderabad and Rainbow Hospitals. Guided several start ups on their journey and played a role to accelerate technology adoption across Industry with associations including StepOne during the pandemic, Telemedicine Society of India, CAHO, HIMSS, DHIndia. Evangelist for C-CAMP CIBIP Program, Jury for Emerge 50 Awards of Nasscom and active contributor to many healthtech communities, will continue in these roles besides my full time role.
