Working with integrators and electricians in the home automation industry, I assist with system design and programming. I custom tailor training sessions for integrators based on needs of their field or sales crew. I also use my "translating" skills to discuss with end users in laymen terms and convert this to something a system designer is looking for. I also assist with troubleshooting difficult problems and am able to speak with engineers directly in their language.

- Working with integrators to support growth of new business to achieve individual annual sales targets and business goals- Providing in-region new product training, supplemental training to key customers, new system design support, and as-needed urgent technical support- Support Savant Authorized Integrators to design new systems and address technical sales and design questions by:* Handling all in-region design tickets that are sent in-bound by Savant customers for support of system design, feature requests, etc.* Participate in beta testing of new products and bug submittal of found items either during testing or in support of customer calls.*Occasional support of programming and system commissioning in support of the sales channel as well as other duties as assigned.* Promote all Savant Branded Product Categories and the Savant Brand by representing Savant at local and national trade & industry events

On a daily basis I manage between 10-20 active projects and am responsible for a total of 40 home automation projects. I will manage the projects from start to finish including coordination between contractors, homeowners, architects, and Interior decorators. Projects could be large as 20,000 sq. ft home with full Savant automation system including, Lutron lighting, IC Realtime cameras, Savant Climate control, DSC Security system, distributed Savant Audio Video system. I also manage the schedule for install crews ,along with any special access conditions, and coordinating with other trades that may be needed such as electricians and or carpenters. I conduct initial walkthroughs with clients before the project starts, along with several more walkthroughs throughout the progress of the project. At the end of the project I complete a walkthrough with the client again to review the project is completed to their satisfaction along with conducting a training for the client and users.Other Responsibilities include:Providing advanced Savant programming for special automation situations, custom profiles, and commercial board room themes customizationProvide first level technical support for install and service techniciansProvide remote support for clients with installed system, often using remote access software to login to a clients automation system, lighting system, or network to resolve any issues they may be experiencingAttend vendor trainings to keep current on new and upcoming productsUtilize the vendor trainings to create and conduct internal ACT trainings to our technicians. Review all proposals and change orders for design integrityManage ACT's wired and wireless network, phone system and voicemailManage ACT's Google for Business e-mail, calendar, and cloud storage servicesPurchase, deploy and test new products before being specified or installed to ensure operation meets ACT's reliability standards
