I was brought on as the lead Video Editor/Producer and Contributing Writer at Consumed Media to assist in the launch the company’s first content producing properties, PressRoomVIP and HipHopMyWay. As the primary video editor and producer I developed, produced, directed, shot and edited video content including celebrity interviews, news segments, lifestyle tips and comedy one-offs as well as managed all aspects of post production. I was an integral part of launching and maintaining social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, working with keyword planner to develop effective meta-data for videos produced. In addition to producing original content I fostered close relationships with outside entities such as LifeBeat and Women’s Media Center, producing and editing PSA’s for LifeBeat’s Know Your Status and Worlds AIDS Day campaigns as well as Honoree Videos for the 2014 Women’s Media Awards.
