As President & CEO, Bob is responsible for providing the leadership and strategic direction that drives United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley toward achieving its vision, mission, and long-term goals for our region. Working closely with the Board of Directors, United Way staff, and our agency partners, Bob seeks to advance the organization’s work by harnessing the power of all sectors - Private, Public, and Nonprofit - to deliver innovative, effective solutions, long-lasting change, thus creating greater opportunity, access, and equity for all.

Serve as a Faculty member for this innovative, 22-week leadership development program aimed at equipping the most promising nonprofit leaders with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to make their organizations effective, innovative, and sustainable. Responsibilities include: Developing syllabi and course content, providing classroom instruction & facilitation, introducing tools and resources, and supporting the learning and development of talented group of senior-level nonprofit leaders.

uAspire is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to achieve their dreams of higher education. uAspire provides free financial aid advice and advocacy to students and families, helping them to overcome the financial barriers to a college education. Through strategic partnerships with high schools, community organizations and local universities, uAspire helps academically prepared students find an affordable path to – and through – a postsecondary education.

PBHA strives for social justice. As a student-run organization, we draw upon the creative initiative of students and community members to foster collaboration that empowers individuals and communities. Through social service and social action, PBHA endeavors to meet community needs while advocating structural change. PBHA seeks to promote social awareness and community involvement at Harvard and beyond.
