Served as senior network engineer/consultant and Bally High Speed Network product architect. Created and implemented the most widely adopted class 3 gaming ethernet network in the world. In this highly cross functional role, I worked closely with the sales team, product development engineering staff, QA, and compliance groups. Conducted live and remote product presentations and technical workshops with most major gaming operators. Was also responsible for resolving the highest priority and most complicated network implementation and support issues worldwide.Highlights:-Designed and led the first implementation of the SDS high-speed gaming floor. -Total HSN implementations include installations ranging from 100 to 4500+ slot machines spanning 20 countries on 5 continents.-Authored numerous technical papers and guides relating to gaming network architecture.-Engineered casino network failover solution for Starworld and Galaxy Macau resorts, located in Macau, China.-Designed and created datacenter failover proof of concept for Italy's national video lottery system, spanning 2 data centers and supporting 90 remote locations.-Performed network modeling and created numerous test lab configurations, assisted embedded engineering team with software features, bug fixes, and fault isolation.-Mentored and assisted client network teams and vendors in network architecture methodologies and troubleshooting.-Participated in the layout and certification of numerous large (1000-3000+ node) fiber optic and copper cabling plants.
