I specialize in addressing Latino mental health disparities and fostering collaboration between pastors and community mental health providers to bridge gaps in care.As the owner of Avodah Counseling and a PhD candidate in Counseling, my work is driven by a commitment to reducing stigma, promoting mental health literacy, and increasing access to culturally informed mental health care. My research focuses on the Latino Paradox, exploring innovative strategies to empower underserved communities through partnerships with religious organizations and community agencies.Beyond my private practice, I mentor future clinicians to integrate faith and evidence-based practices in mental health care.I believe that hope, faith, and access to quality mental health care are transformative forces. Through Avodah Counseling, my teaching, and community engagement, I aim to create pathways for healing and growth.
