My role is to build a team, engage with employers who need workforce improvement, and build partnerships with all local organizations which exist to serve the community. The Center will be based in a brand new building set to open in early April 2022. Activity will be modeled after proven Goodwill practices throughout the Southern Rivers region.

Earned RLG’s “Best of the Best” award for project excellence. Project highlights included:– Chemical Plant Turnaround | Nova Chemicals Joffre | Alberta, Canada | 2019– Assessed turnaround readiness and implementation of preparation improvements, including optimization of critical path workstreams. Provided hands-on feedback and coaching throughout the turnaround particularly in addressing unexpected discovery work. – Following the turnaround, constructed an improvement plan to enable sustainable performance excellence. – Oil Refinery Turnaround | Shell Oil | Norco, Louisiana | 2017 – 2019– Prepared and executed two turnarounds valued at over $250M.– Completed both projects under budget and ahead of schedule.– Made process improvements through cross-functional teams. For instance, reduced permitting time 15%, drove discovery work costs below our $3M budget.– Forest Products Manufacturing | Norbord Corporation | Guntown, Mississippi; Jefferson, Texas; Joanna, South Carolina; Cordele, Georgia; Lanett, Alabama | 2013 – 2017– Successfully restarted the Jefferson plant after being idle for five years during market downturn. – Constructed a $33M equipment upgrade in South Carolina.– Developed and implemented tools and processes for improving safety, quality, cost, and leadership.– Lime Manufacturing | Graymont LTD Manufacturing | Superior, Wisconsin; Tacoma, Washington; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Port Inland, Michigan | 2011 – 2013– Developed management and business processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity while reducing unit costs with an emphasis on front line involvement and empowerment.– Improved uptime, cost, and safety performance of all facilities.
