Responsible for the direction, coordination, synchronization & integration of health support planning and execution in support of 101st Airborne Division’s combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom.* Served as the Division’s Senior Combat Health Support Planner, ensuring all aspects of the medical plan were coordinated, synchronized and integrated within the division & across coalition partners.* Planned, wrote and executed the 101st Airborne Division’s Health Service Support Plan for the invasion of Iraq and Operation Iraqi Freedom, including unique and innovative solutions to provide continuous and overlapping, aero-medical evacuation coverage for the division’s operations from Kuwait to the northernmost regions of Iraq.* Provided senior medical expert analysis and cross-functional medical staff consultation support and advice to Iraqi healthcare leaders and staff in support of the establishment of a coordinated healthcare system at the local, province and national level.* Proactively assured the medical equipment and personnel readiness of all 101st Airborne Division units, including the acquisition and fielding of automated medical logistics requisition and distribution systems prior to deployment and conducting combat operations.* Managed career assignments for 30 Army Medical Department officers within the division in coordination with U.S. Army Human Resources Command and advised, assisted and mentored the division’s company commanders and medical platoon leaders through formal and informal activities.* Developed health support plans for all operations with Division, Corps, Theater & Joint elements.* Provided medical analysis and advice, and prepared briefings, reports and papers for the Division's senior leadership.
