Managerial role as head of Derwent IP's content authoring team. The content authoring team is responsible for the production of enhanced patent abstracts, titles and curation of three million patent documents every year from forty different patent authorities. The responsibility of the team was transformation of raw patents into enhanced, English language documents and abstracts that can be searched and indexed easily and give instant insight into the novelty and scope of a patent. Allowing researchers and experts to immediately understand the purpose and impact of patent families across the world.I also performed both financial and data forecasting, worked with new solution and technology enhancement teams and carried out regular managerial duties for my team.

At Informa I was an Analyst specialised in infectious diseases and vaccines for Citeline Pharmaprojects, a global drug development and clinical trial pharmaceutical intelligence product. I was responsible for maintaining the infectious diseases, vaccines and genitourinary therapeutic areas.The second component of the position comprised research and analysis for Citeline Analytics, a pharmaceutical consulting company within the Informa brand which produces bespoke research projects for major pharmaceutical entities.Finally I produced thought leadership work on the pharmaceutical and clinical trials industry designed to engage with clients, promote the relevant product and garner feedback which was then integrated into internal process and development.

I also developed my legal and scientific writing skills, authoring reports regarding complex patent applications in language that is scientifically and legally sound as well as accessible to non specialists.
