My research interests relate to music, culture, and society. My research has a particular focus on the relationship between music production and transculturation.

1- lead the new educational label program to help students gain knowledge and experience with the creative industry2- develop a community outreach program to help launch new careers3- Discover wins, challenges, and opportunities to grow by conducting market analysis with industry leaders and partners.

Lead the new program ‘French Music Analysis and Composition Technique’, allowing students to gain valuable knowledge in classical and modern French music as well as offering the option of specialised studies in one of French music school techniques (including impressionism, twelve-tone technique, spectral music, the music of Olivier Messiaen.). Administrative duties include daily operation based on the regulation of the department of composition at the Central Conservatory of Music. Designed and set up the program in music analysis and composition.

while working at the central conservatory of Music in Beijing, I Taught courses in Electroacoustic Composition, Acoustics, Music Cognition, Film Music, Contemporary and Music Production, Music Technology, private readings in Advanced Electronic Music Composition, and Music Technological topics.

I developed teaching materials following the approved syllabus from the School Senior Management and planned and supervised activities such as workshops, concert performances, and outreach programs regionally and internationally.

My duty involved designing interesting courses to teach fundamentals of algorithmic composition as well as introducing aid-to-algorithmic-composition tools such as the IRCAM package Open Music/ Common Music, as well as James Mc Carthy Supercollider application by demonstrating how such systems can be used in order to create original mixed media works.[5] Part time Lecturer in Computer Music/Sound Synthesis (CSound) - Trinity CollegeDublin In conjunction with Dr Dermot Furlong, I was involved into designing a course that introduced students to the notion of composition with CSound. Students were given two assignments within the year that were based on the conception of original composition using complex synthesis (Modulation synthesis, granular synthesis, etc...) in a minimalist and spectral style, comparable to techniques used by Steve Reich and Gerard Grisey.[6] Part time Lecturer in Composition for mixed media/ score design - Trinity CollegeDublin This course was design to further student knowledge of scoring techniques using conventional applications such as Finale 2002-2005 in conjunction with Adobe packages (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator) for the conception of less conventional/ complete graphical scores. A survey of scoring techniques was also taught as well as an introduction to instrumentation and orchestration. Students were assessed depending on their ability to communicate musical ideas via scoring techniques.
