At Never Coffee, I take great pride in working among a team of equals. This mighty crew is a powerhouse of skill, passion, resourcefulness, and determination. Daily I am inspired by the uniqueness of flavors that infuse our cafes, the joyful design that imbues our products, the conviction of work ethic that drives us to excel, and the community that drives us to care more deeply and engage more thoughtfully in every expression of our work. It's a true honor to lead this team in our unending quest to deliver customers with products and experiences that nurture meaningful rituals and always surprise. I'm always sipping Cinder Cone, our elevated diner blend with a nod to our Mt. Tabor roots in Portland, Oregon. In addition to my work with Never, I have the privilege of working with a collection of other SMBs in the Portland area through Road West Financials. I built Road West because I had never met an entrepreneur who started their business to tweak financial projections, build relationships with lenders, or analyze financial statements. Nor did I know many small businesses who could afford a full-time CFO or accounting team to assist with these duties. At Road West, we love jump into the chaos of innovation, working with owners to understand what drives them, creating and tracking KPIs around those values, and collaborating closely with their teams to ensure the company continues to measure its success against what matters to them. And because in small business everyone wears many hats, the Road West team handles all aspects of company finance (reporting, payroll, full-charge bookkeeping) so our clients are freed up to focus on their dreams.
