Corporate Recruiter
Building partnerships with hiring leaders and creating great recruiting experiences continues to be my passion! At T. Rowe Price, I’ve had the opportunity to learn a new and niche segment of financial services, which focuses on enriching the financial wellness of our clients and the communities we serve. While I’ve been able to stretch into other areas and work across the enterprise, my main client partnerships are within Global Distribution and have a focus on Intermediary Sales (executive sales), varied leadership and professional roles within Individual Investors and Retirement Plan businesses, as well as other digital, sales, and marketing enablement functions. Not only do I have an opportunity to recruit for these areas, I’ve gotten to take on these projects and leadership assignments:• Human Resources Rotational Program – focus on HR Analytics and Reporting• Hiring Manager Satisfaction Survey - Creating a Better Hiring Manager Experience• CRM Implementation - Gr8People

Earning the opportunity to mentor, coach, and train recruiters was incredibly fulfilling! Along with managing a team of direct reports, I continued to head talent acquisition projects in the areas of technology, data, and employer branding. Strategically aligning Mariner's recruiting efforts with the different needs for various business units and objectives was also one of my major responsibilities. My key functions as Talent Acquisition Manager were:• Measured effectiveness of recruitment processes, programs and services including the impact on the organization.• Provided leadership, regular performance feedback and coaching, career and development opportunities to allow team members to increase their skills and grow professionally.• Continually improved programs, policies, and processes in talent attraction, selection, and acquisition yielding high quality hires for the organization.• Participated in strategic workforce planning for current and future talent needs. Human Resources Representative Ii/Corporate Recruiter
Being able to quickly transfer my knowledge of sourcing, internet recruiting, and salary negotiations were huge components to my success in this role. Mariner Finance doubled in size and I was the primary recruiter and responsible for an increase of 30% in the amount of Branch Manager Trainees. Reducing cost to hire by 56%, while experiencing an increase from 60 to over 125 open positions, was also a huge accomplishment in this position. As a result, I soon received a promotion from HR Representative to Talent Acquisition Specialist. The achievement I am most proud of in this role is designing and implementing a company wide Veterans Hiring Initiative. My key functions as HR Representative were:• Oversee the development and ongoing engagement of active and passive candidate talent pipeline, both internally and externally, to support immediate and future hiring needs• Cultivate strong consultative relationships with hiring managers. Interviewing, empathy, being client focused, and having many different clients to work with are key in both recruiting and mental health. Transitioning these skills into recruiting allowed me to quickly earn high honors while working at CNHS. Making my first placement after three weeks is still a company record and I also hold the record for largest placement fee: My key functions as a Search Consultant were:• Recruited and participated in the direct hire process of healthcare professionals for Managed Care clients• Managed the application, compliance, and orientation process for each new healthcare employee placement• Used direct marketing to find potential specialized candidates for Managed Care Organizations, Health plans and Hospital systems

As a Rehabilitation Coordinator in Johns Hopkins Bayview's Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, I connected a caseload of 35 clients to medical, legal, and life resources that enhance my client’s standard of living. I acted as primary program liaison between multiple departments and facilities to provide customized solutions for each client. By using detailed knowledge of client insurance benefits I was able to assist clients with obtaining necessary resources. I was responsible for conducting initial intake and client interviews, assessing strengths, barriers and needed areas of improvement.
