I am physicist and materials scientist interested in the connection between the geometry (or structure) of materials and their emergent properties (including mechanics, thermodynamics, and stimuli-response). I have extensive expertise in computational and theoretical research, including in numerical modeling, data science, computer vision, and multi-scale (physics-based) simulation -- I'm passionate about leveraging these tools to collaborate with researchers (especially experimentalists!) in engineering, chemistry, biology, and the social sciences. My graduate research at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is supported by the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program.
