Leading a team of 6 Engineers to develop multiple services in Azure including Express Route Gateways, Routing in VWAN, DebugBot and PacketML (ML based take to diagnose issues in TCP streams). Shipped key scenarios in VWAN including ER-VPN transit, Internet Cutout over VPN and ER and Global Reach.

Worked on design and implementation of networking for Dedicated HSM. Also worked on POCs and various validations for MSEEv2 which optimizes end to end data path for ultra-low latency workloads (<1ms). Initiated the effort to automate diagnostics of customer issues as part of DebugBot which is being replicated across Azure Networking. Debugged multiple hard to debug issues including starvation (using novel technique of TcpReplay), high memory & CPU consumption and synchronization in distributed service.

In Windows team I worked on design and implementation of Network Controller (as part of software defined networking effort) for Multi-Tenant RRAS Gateways. The design phase included coming up with topology, integration with various pieces such as Software Load Balancer (SLB), Hyper-V Network Virtualization etc. Drived End-to-End integration with various pieces as part of this effort. As part of Azure Networking, I delivered zero downtime for all kinds of planned maintenance on Express Route Gateways and re-implemented leader election algorithm to ensure eventual consistency

Worked primarily on design and implementation of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and various enhancements to make Routing And Remote Access Service (RRAS) multi-tenant aware. I also re-architected RRAS to make code base leaner and simpler

Worked on distributed build system, wherein i was tasked with designing and implementing decision engine to split build (compile/link/package) of windows code base across multiple machines using various heuristics such as machine configuration/time taken to build each component etc.

Worked on GUI for Bluetooth sniffer in UMIT project as part of UMIT Summer of Code.
