During my time as a substitute teacher in the Fleetwood Area School District, I held two long-term substitute positions in separate third grade classrooms at Willow Creek Elementary. I was responsible for writing and implementing lesson plans, behavior management, communicating between staff and parents, updating teacher websites, incorporating technology into lessons, and making lessons fun and engaging for students. I was also responsible for students' safety throughout each day. I have gained experience in leading field trips and writing report cards, progress monitoring, and guided reading groups.

At the daycare, I worked over the summer and winter months with school-age children. My job required me to provide care for students, including providing snacks, leading activities, and teaching a daily lesson.

At The Vista School I held an unpaid internship position working with students ages 5-8 years. All of the students were nonverbal. I gained experience using the PECS system as well as ABA.
