Profile bio

About Pratik Bhansali, Ph.D.

Proficient in thermal management. A big believer of having a broad outlook, and accumulating a wide range of skill sets. Currently developing novel cooling solutions to power high-end computing. It's fascinating to me that aircraft engines, the food industry and high performance computing would be tied so well with heat transfer. The same fundamental principles drive innovations in all three and I have been fortunate to acquire hands-on as well as computational skills in all three domains, yet yet feel like there hasn't been much change required when looking at a problem.Expertise in heat transfer, experienced in cryogenic and supercritical CO2 process systems, advanced food process systems, test design, instrumentation, CFD analysis of sub and supercritical systems. Adept at working in cross-functional R&D teams at start-ups in lab and pilot plant settings, active contribution in scale-up discussions. Ability to initiate, explore and solidify new concepts and techniques.

Listed skills include Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, and 13 others.
