Built out a datalake system using AWS Transfer, Glue, Athena, Lambda, SFN, and S3.Developed an application that dynamically generates queries based on parent-child relationships. This creates adependency graph from the queries and groups them into a State Machine definition to run against Athena.

Designed and built a fully functional upper limb prosthetic simulator for UT Southwestern Medical Center. ProE/Creo was utilized to design the simulator, prior to building, and NI LabVIEW was used to program several motors, sensors, and gearboxes on the simulator. The robotic simulator provides as a testing bed for new upper arm medical devices such as prehensors and bowden cable systems.

Conducted research in correlating a droplet’s splash radii with its impact angle on a super-hydrophobic surface. Designed special, nano-scaled, patterned wafers to collect and divert water condensation formed on any surface. Applications explored include harvesting water, creating waterproof surfaces, and making condensation chambers more efficient. Created educational videos that were shown in the senior Intermediate Fluid Mechanics classes.
