Allocated over 20 licenses to C-suite and managers. ShipConsole is a software company that deals with outbound shipping and inbound receiving as well as all other parts of logistics. Their software is fully integrated with ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite and is highly configurable for any company.. ERP systems are generally lacking in this functionality, so ShipConsole was created as a solution through a single dashboard for all product and non-product shipping needs. My role as a research intern was to research the functionality of ERP software and the ShipConsole software. I spent my time learning how ERP and business technology increases corporate efficiency. I also looked at ShipConsole’s functionality and how it integrates with the supply chain aspects of ERP. I was then tasked with researching the customer service and case management Saas, ServiceNow. I presented my findings through a detailed presentation and analysis report to executives at ShipConsole. Within ServiceNow, I learned about the App Engine which allows users to create low code applications to deal with ticket submissions or other customer service needs for the company. I also explored ServiceNow integrations with ERP software and ShipConsole by creating my own instance and presenting this to executives.
