The topic of my PhD research is: Nationalisation of international NGOs – A study on the process, problems and pitfalls of the transformation of development institutions through the process of nationalisation in the context of Cambodia. As part of my empirical data collection, I studied various donor agencies and international and national development organisations working in Cambodia. I have gained extensive experience of organising the research activities, networking and coordination, interacting with people and learning about different organisations involved. This research studies have also been a real learning about strategic and operational management of international development agencies.
