From being a seasoned businessman to a passionate event planner, I have had the opportunity of experiencing both the creative and business side of life: which ultimately led to the birth of SAPPHIRE Event Management.After graduating with a degree of BSc (Hons) Business Management (Marketing & Finance) from the University of Manchester in UK, I came back to Dubai and joined the family business: Florida Textiles LLC, a textile trading company. I learned the tricks of the trade by working among my staff for a month in each department which helped me create a bottom up approach in our company, once I took charge as the Assisting Managing Director.It was only when I planned and executed my sister’s wedding that I realised my true calling. I immediately enrolled myself in the EMDI institute, Dubai, to get some formal learning in the field of Event Management & Innovative Marketing which was taught by real life experts’ of the Dubai’s event industry.Following that, in the past four years I got offered to assist as a freelancer for a number of events like: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (Formula One), Launch of Blue Marlin Ibiza in UAE, Dubai Tennis Championship, The Middle East Events Show, The Big 5, and also got to plan and execute weddings, and many more private events.Bringing together my seven years of experience as a businessman in the trading industry, and four years experience as a freelancer in the events industry, I have created a new start-up company called SAPPHIRE Event Management, focusing primarily on Private, Corporate and Giftevents.
