As a purchasing engineer, 1. My primary roll is to taking care of procuring materials required for the ongoing production continuosly by planning & sheduling purchase orders ontime. 2. Negotiate with the suppliers to get the materials in competititve price without comparamising the quality. 3. If the exact part is in demand in market, I will get the samples for the exact equivalent part by analysing datasheet and get confirmation from R&D team before get into production. 4. Mainting the overall BOM cost even if some deviation in price of the some parts.
