As a Quality Controller at Flamingo Horticulture, I contribute to ensuring product quality and safety in the food industry. I perform various tests and inspections on fresh produce, such as fruits and vegetables, and document the results using document management systems (DMS). I also monitor and report any deviations from the regulatory standards and the company's policies and procedures.I hold a master's degree in Food Science and Technology with advanced practice from Teesside University, where I developed my knowledge and skills in food processing, microbiology, nutrition, and biotechnology. My academic project involved optimizing the shelf life and sensory properties of a novel dairy product using different packaging methods. This experience enhanced my attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.I am passionate about learning new things and improving my professional competencies. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the food industry.
