As a Business Process Engineer on the DMACS project, my role involved replacing the existing Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DoDMERB) Medical Evaluation Accessions Computing System (DMACS) with an upgraded platform designed to enhance performance/efficiency. The project aimed to modernize the system by leveraging current technologies to improve case processing, enhance automation, and reduce errors while maintaining stringent information security standards. My responsibilities included managing workflow statuses, communications, and the rules engine for the new system. I was involved in creating and integrating functionalities such as applicant and sponsorship creation via A1 file uploads and API using Postman/MuleSoft, as well as developing UI for critical medical and optometric exam forms. Additionally, I worked on document generation and e-signature processes using DocuSign, and built community portals for waiver authority and physician interactions. Hands -on experience in Experience cloud/Community portals for Medical Contractors, Waiver Authority, Physician & Applicant, which was a needed workflow in the end-to-end process. I also played a key role in eliciting updated requirements, developing business and technical documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and System Requirements Specifications (SRS), and ensuring the incorporation of necessary functionality from the legacy system and third-party contractors. My work involved preparing technical design presentations for client approval and managing requirement changes to align with DoDMERB’s objectives. I facilitated various meetings such as stand-up calls, design approval meetings, and user story refinement sessions, ensuring productive participation and progress tracking using JIRA. Served as a liaison among clients, technical teams, and QA, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demos, supporting testers during QA, and addressing defects.

As a Senior Business Analyst I played a pivotal role in the LIFT (Leveraging Information for Tomorrow) project. This CRM initiative was designed to establish a unified enterprise-wide source of truth for managing end-to-end stakeholder and provider relationship data. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, I provided strong customer-focused support, leveraging my comprehensive understanding of Salesforce’s functionalities to help the team fully utilize the platform.
