Co-Founder & CeoInsieve Oct 2013 - Oct 2014Mostly did Pugmarks.me. Pugmarks was a large scale anticipatory content discovery system - that used user browsing history to predict topics of interest, and scoured the web to automatically bring more of that.Alongside, we also developed a mobile browser for Android - aptly called a smart browser, and showed relevant pages for every page a user browsed to on his mobile.While doing Pugmarks, we built a large social crawl of the web, mining and indexing documents shared on Twitter and LinkedIn. We also built a new type of a reverse index - specifically aimed at making retrieving information from streams easier. We developed algorithms for ranking streams for their expertise in topics.After taking over as CEO, I led the team of about 10 people, to explore market avenues. Spent most of the time building and defining the product.

Co-FounderDhiti Dec 2009 - Jan 2012Dhiti was a content recommender widget for publishers. A publisher added our widget (a piece of Javascript) onto his website, and we'd automatically crawl their website, and organize their content into topics (from wikipedia). When a user visited a page, we'd serve other related pages they must read, and also predict topics that may have been interesting for him.At its peak, Dhiti was on 400+ publishers, serving about 8M page views a month.
