In the capacity of this role I led and managed various initiatives in the web landscape including small sized projects, performance improvements and incidents. Managed stakeholders, vendors, cost, schedule, delivery and support.The Web landscape encompasses the supplier relationship management portal, the intranet site and Fonterra.com amongst others. Various IBM Softwares ( WebSphere Portal, WebSEAL, IHS etc. ) form the backbone of these portals.

WebSEAL and Tivoli Access Manager Policy Server (TAM-PS) are components of Tivoli Access Manager (TAM) that provide authentication to ensure secure access to all Fonterra Web Applications. This includes key web based systems such as Milky Way, Fonterra.com, Fencepost.com, SAP Portal etc.Project Management included ( not limited to ) leading steering committees, stakeholder management and reporting, schedule and budget management, fortnightly status reporting, risks and issues workshops and enabling change management.

The web environment comprising of IBM Workplace Web Content management, Load Balancer, WebSeal and IHS required improvements. The program of work was initiated to ensure that good practices are introduced and adhered to. This included proactive monitoring using SCOM, performance testing, regular patching and performance tuning as per IBM tuning guides. The program was delivered via 4 phases namely Quick Wins, content Management rectifications, performance tuning and best practise configuration Management. Fencepost is the supplier relationship management portal. The Replatform project was undertaken to improve and enhance the site funtionality on an IBM supported platform ( Portal & WCM ).As a technical lead on the project I duly performed the following -• Requirement Analysis with Fonterra BA’s• Designed the framework for Milk Production and Quality, Classifieds and Online Forms • Technical Lead for Financials, Milk Production and Quality, Classifieds• Formalized the approach for data migration, and led the team to successfully complete migration from SQL server to Oracle 10g using Oracle Migration Repository Utility• Lead the team to migrate and create third party access to Fonterra farms from SQL server to Oracle • Created the performance plan and data migration plan for the project

Customer Relationship Management is done using the MS CRM suite in Fonterra. Fonterra required a means in CRM where the Area managers could tap into the new opportunities that may come Fonterra' way in the near future. The set of enhancements mostly revolved around this area.• Managed Onshore-Offshore Coordination• Interacted with Business Users to capture requirements • Successful Delivery of one of the first projects in Fonterra run via onshore-offshore model• Implemented the project based on RAD/ JAD methodology, which resulted in a quick turnaround time for the project• Created traceability Matrix’s to ensure business requirements were thoroughly tested• Managed and ran risk workshops• Stakeholder Reporting

Worked on various projects in Fonterra as a Senior Business Analyst. My role included writing business requirements using UML. I also wrote effective test strategies ensuring the test objectives comprehensively spanned requirements. I was also heavily involved in identifying valid test cases for the test objectives hence ensuring a robust testing platform and framework was in place for "new product developments".
