I am an engineering student, soon to graduate, with a passion for hands-on problem solving and innovative engineering design. With diverse experiences in aerospace, engineering CAD (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks), machine tools and project management, I have developed a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset, both of which I continue to refine through academic and work experiences.At my internship as an Engineering CAD Technician at Centra Windows, I designed and prototyped engineering instruments using AutoCAD, Inventor, and machine shop tools to upgrade our in-house water/structural testing wall. I also collaborated with multiple stakeholders such as vendors, departments and management to coordinate and deliver projects. This role has provided me with valuable experience in quality assurance, project management, and product design, with a focus on research and development.At UBC, I was involved in student teams such as the UBC WasteNauts and UBCO Aerospace Club, where I contributed to the design, assembly, and launch of model rockets and aircraft components. In my time with the UBC WasteNauts, I managed media outreach, communicated progress updates, and promoted sustainability projects, while fostering team spirit through various activities.My academic projects, such as the design of a brushless motor and an autonomous model car, have honed my skills in electrical components, machine learning, and hardware development. I also gained hands-on experience with clinical machinery during my role as a Seasonal Clinic Assistant, demonstrating my ability to adapt to different environments and work with diverse technologies.In addition to my technical skills, I have a deep interest in outreach and education, having volunteered with UBC’s Physics and Astronomy Outreach to engage the community with science and technology.I’m excited to continue learning, building, and applying my skills in engineering, with a focus on aerospace, sustainability, innovation, and teamwork.
