Extensive experience across disciplines as a physician, entrepreneur, CEO, chief scientific officer, consultant, author, and researcher. Dr. Patel graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy, exploring the intersections of culture, spirituality, and psychology. He then went on to get his MD and general psychiatry training at the Medical College of Georgia, winning multiple awards and performing at the top of his class, while starting an award-winning company named myPEAK. During residency, he deepened his expertise in the world of healthcare through a Healthcare MBA along with graduate certificates in Healthcare Management & Healthcare Strategy through Harvard Business School and the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He is currently a research track fellow in child & adolescent psychiatry at Brown University. He is particularly passionate about the biology & neuroscience of trauma and resilience.
