I setup and maintained tax tables/income maps for country and account levels to ensure the proper amount of tax withholding. I disbursed funds from an internal suspense account for income posted by both my group and other internal income groupsI assisted in projects related to department workflows or applications.I served as Subject Matter Expert in the tax department level projects and strategic level projects; provided input into requirements gathering, completed the necessary testing and assisted with the implementation.I was responsible for filing with Global Custodian and Non-US Tax Authorities to ensure accurate withholding and prompt reclamation of tax withheld per relevant tax treaties; maintain and update all foreign tax withholding tables on relevant accounting systems.I completed, verified and filed client tax documentation necessary for obtaining U.S. Residency Certifications from the IRS.I partner with the Tax Services Department to periodically review procedures and processing of cost basis; inventory method selection; asset transfer statements; and/or any other processing against IRS regulations to ensure compliance. Monitor tax law changes and proactively propose/advise on process/system changes needed to implement new tax regulatory changes. Provide support and participate in focus groups related to Global Plus processing
