In this role I am engaged in activities regarding pricing, negotiating contracts as wellas preparing agreements. I also assist in accounts with reconciliations payments,allocating credits and working on rebates. My task was to look after the logistics partand effectively ensured timely deliveries are made as per customer requirements.I forecast customer requirements, work on new business/new sales with existingcustomers and prepare sales reports. I determine suppliers based on market trends,delivery lead times and pricing.I engage in tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery, reviewing quality ofproducts & ensuring standards were maintained. I liaise with suppliers regards theshipment ready dates and work with freight forwarders to organise shipmentbooking.My duty is to seamlessly ensure proper custom documents are provided by thesupplier at the time of shipment and consistently work on health and safety issues,as required. I negotiate with freight forwards and about distribution warehouseprices. I also closely follow up customer complaints and liaise with supplierspertaining to these claims.Finally, I collaborate with the sales team and customers and engage in organisingregular meetings and updating the delivery schedules.
