Coles Express has an Alliance with Viva Energy Australia to retail Shell fuel, groceries and other services from more than 700 sites across Australia. Approximately four million customers visit the Coles Express network on a weekly basis, purchasing almost 5 billion litres of petroleum products and spending over $1.1 billion a year in the associated convenience stores. We employ over 5,000 people and operate 365 days a year and in most cases for 24 hours of the day. The Coles Online business provides access to online purchasing of groceries for more than 90% of all Australians. Village Roadshow Theme Parks (VRTP) is a $300 million division of Village Roadshow Limited (VRL) with domestic and overseas (USA) operations in the entertainment and tourism industries. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and responsible for all facets of the Group Finance function including:Consolidate, evaluate, analyse and comment upon actuals, budgets and Five Year Plans from business units and divisions for submission to the Board.Reviewing the operational performance of the Group and promote profitability improvement actions.Assist the CFO with maintaining relationships with the Group’s financiers.Overall responsibility for the Group financial systems.Evaluate capital expenditure projects and assist with M&A activity and analysis.Responsible for ensuring that all statutory financial accounts for the Group.

QFCL is a $500m, large scale (40m meals per annum) “Just-In-Time” manufacturer with 8 manufacturing plants across Australia. Employing 4,000 people QFCL provides catering, logistical, cleaning and other services to over thirty airlines as well as catering to railways and hospitals/aged care facilities. Reporting to the Group General Manager (GGM).Development and implementation of strategic direction for national procurement, pricing, menu development, customer service and IT functions.Review and restructuring of procurement, pricing and menu development in line with supply chain management principles.Primary customer contact for internal/external customers.Management and tracking of the implementation of group labour and production systems.Identify new BD opportunities, including identifying and managing business change.Identify, evaluate and develop key strategic and business initiatives for business plans and other long-term growth plans.

Reporting to the Group General Manager and responsible for the complete finance function of QFCL. The consolidated financial and management reporting for the 8 QFCL subsidiaries and their BU's, undertaking variance analysis including budgeting and forecasting.The provision of commercial business support to the GGM and BU managers including reviewing and approving Capex requests and new business opportunities/change.Overall responsibility for financial systems, including integration of finance function of acquisitions and new business ventures.Performing business reviews and providing recommendations for improvement, including monitoring Cost Saving Initiatives.The completion of all statutory reporting for the QFCL Group.Ensuring that all statutory accounts were prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.The management of relationships with external and internal auditors, ATO, ABS, Qantas Taxation and external Tax Advisers.
