Ever since I was a child, my life’s theme has been centered around the notion of self-improvement. Growing up, I held a lot of responsibility and I had to learn from a young age that in order to help those around me, I had to make myself a priority.   It was through my journey of self-improvement and my passion for helping those in need that I found a love for Psychology. Everyday I encounter people who are filled to the brim with potential but lack resources thus creating minimal motivation for behavioral change; People capable of moving mountains but settle for kicking rocks because they fear they aren’t strong enough. I want to be a worker that can help those individuals discover their motivation and help kickstart their pursuit of happiness by assisting them with viable resources and opportunities. As Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs suggests, to live up to one’s full potential basic needs must be met.  Alike my future clients, I am also continuing in my efforts to reach my full potential. I believe I can offer a safe space in my community to assist with this, based on my experience and education from a reputable and accredited University. My efforts do not stop at my personal endeavors but bleed into my professional life and aspirations. I am excited to pursue my career in psychology and willing to fill a roll in community agencies upon graduation. I am a University of Central Florida graduate and plan to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I possess 7+ years of experience in customer service and administrative work throughout various industries giving me the ability to work efficiently in any given environment. I am incredibly adaptable, goal-oriented, and always eager to learn, no matter how complex the subject. I want to use the skill set that I have adapted to better my community, and help those around me, taking it one day at a time.
