Project: Applying Voice of Customer (VOC) to reduce customer complaints in the slitting department. The scope of the study: •Reduction in the number of customer complaints (pre-slitting & post-slitting). •This project also helped me to enhance my knowledge about Quality Management, Standard Operating Systems, Zero Defects & Cost of Quality.

•Supplier negotiation using linear performance pricing (LPP) model: Defined performance parameters & units of measurement for different components procured from various suppliers. Performed a linear regression to assess the price-performance curves.•Checked plausibility of the differences in price & performance. Identified supplier’s maximum potential for cost reduction.•Identified cost saving opportunities/ideas & target costs for suppliers which will serve as a base for supplier negotiation.•Supplier payment terms (PT) optimization: Assessed data for payments made to the individual suppliers of ABB Vadodara & their corresponding payment terms (local & global).•Calculated payment terms days for the 1st quarter & conducted ABC analysis of the suppliers according to the total payments.•Developed a visual tool (MACRO MODEL) for analyzing the dynamically changing data. Visited the local suppliers of ABB Vadodara & provided suggestions for process improvement in the entire supply chain process.
