My responsibilities at WNS South Africa involved the following :• Heading the finance function for WNS South Africa which had 3500 FTE based out of six sites with complete accountability of controllership as profitability management.Integrate the newly acquired entity into the mainstream organisation as a key member of the integration committee.•Lead the finance function for the location with a clear 3 year financial goal and related strategy. This was of critical importance as South Africa turned to be the largest delivery location for WNS outside India. •Set up robust practices for controllership and FP&A for the location leading to a financial turnaround in 24 months.•Critical Member of the five member "New Business team " with excellent results. What helped me stand out is my operational knowledge and commercial experience to simplify the solution and cater to client requirements .WNS South Africa became the No.1 BPO in South Africa in less than 36 months. •Set up the F&A practice in South Africa catering to third party clients. WNS SA initially was a voice based BPO and I was given the task to add F&A services based on my prior Romania experience. Achieved the same by winning a large deal in 2015 by showcasing a clear delivery roadmap despite limited onshore capabilities. •Led the procurement function. This was critical as we set up sites in three new locations which involved large set up projects.
