Hi, I’m Bhaskar. I’m a Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley advised by Stuart Russell. I’m still very much trying to figure out what I’d like to work on during my time in Berkeley, but my current research interests are in knowledge representation, probabilistic programming, and cognitive architectures. In my free time, you’ll most likely see me reading philosophy, rock climbing, or playing tetris.

Conducted research under the guidance of Dr. Cyrus Cousins and Dr. Amy Greenwald from Brown University. Applied statistical convergence theorems to data-based structures in Algorithmic Game Theory in order to create novel guarantees on the accuracy and usefulness of properties derived from games estimated from data.Papers:Computational and Data.
Worked with undergrad William Gregory and Prof. Jorg Peters at University of Florida to design a Python library for efficiently solving partial differential equations on curved smooth free-form surfaces.Paper: Polyhedral control-net splines for analysis (First-author, ELSEVIER)
University Of Florida
Utilized Deep Neural Networks in combination with heuristic strategies based on expert strategies and hyperparameters optimized through grid search and random search in order to create a high-performance Gin Rummy agent. Paper was accepted and has been presented at the EAAI 2021 conference.
