OncoSmart digital transformation platform optimizes and simplifies the complexities of cancer treatment clinic operations.OncoSmart™ suite of products are at the core of cancer treatment clinical operations optimizing over 1.25 million services annually. They have been developed in close partnership with one of the largest oncology groups in the nation.

• Project lead for an end-to-end automation system designed for mobile device failure recognition and analysis. Role includes all areas of responsibility from vendor and project management to team supervision, prove-in of the implementation and execution• Successfully brought this project from development to deployment stage according to schedule with at least two direct reports and co-ordination with external vendor and several other teams across the company• With an efficient solution, enabled the company to reduce support per program with more efficient use of relevant resources and more consistent results across team members• Extended the usability of the solution beyond its initially intended use and had to constantly think out of the box to provide best possible, user friendly outputs for engineers and management

• System design for LTE and LTE-A technologies and Machine to Machine communication systems operating on UMTS and LTE wireless technologies• 3GPP standards support in primarily RAN2 area for M2M systems and UMTS, LTE and LTE-A technologies• System design and standards support for IEEE 802.11x technologies and WiFi Alliance

• Played a key role in the development of InterDigital’s Dual Mode PC card• Worked on the complete UMTS protocol stack ranging from NAS to layer 1 software• Managed a significant portion of the physical control layer that interacts with the UMTS hardware and the higher layers• Designed and implemented Power Saving functionality in the physical control layer achieving significant power savings• Provided extensive support for Field Testing of the PC card that included testing and fixing any issues in a time critical manner

• Implemented a module of the Radio Resource Management (RRM) software for WLAN Access Points (AP) that enhances the system throughput by performing frequency management. Gain in the throughput can reach up to 100% when compared to standard 802.11 APs depending on the application• Designed and implemented a security mechanism in the software to restrict the use of it on a single AP. This mechanism also supports the evaluation version functionality to disable the software after a pre-determined period of time• Programmed various automation scripts to automate test processes and post process test outputs. This increased the efficiency of testing and reduced the requirement from multiple resources to a single resource• Worked on various device parameters such as the CPU usage and memory utilization and analyzed the results to improve the efficiency and performance of the software and intelligently utilize the available resources

• Integration of WLAN RRM software onto commercially available embedded platforms operating on Real Time Linux and VxWorks• Testing and debugging of the Software

• Designed and implemented an 802.11 based locationing system to provide location based services for mobile devices• Involved in the design of a multi-modal location based services engine based on various wireless technologies that include Wi-Fi, RFID and GPS

• Designed an energy efficient access control protocol for self-organizing, hierarchical wireless sensor networks based on 802.11 technology• Simulated and validated the performance of the protocol using Network Simulator (NS2). The MAC protocol achieves up to 60% energy savings when compared to the standard 802.11 MAC• Involved in the Design, prototyping and defining of specifications for the hierarchical self-organizing wireless sensor network• Modified Cisco and Prism WLAN device drivers for custom performance• Programmed devices such as CORE 586 based embedded systems to achieve functionality of single and double interface wireless sensors• Configure and setup IEEE 802.11b WLAN devices such as access points, PCI & PCMCIA cards for desktops, laptops and other handheld devices• Deploy and administer a cluster of 15-20 wired/wireless devices operating on LINUX and WINDOWS operating systems

• Designed and simulated a Smart Antenna system for CDMA based 3G Base Stations. The smart antenna could achieve a narrow beam-width of approximately 13 degrees in azimuth and high gain• Performed a case study on CDMA technology to analyze the potential for its deployment
