Direct responsibility of the turnaround of The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur, a 100 year old palace hotel, which was an underperforming unit in a span of one year. Recorded a 200% growth in overall revenues in two years. The successes in revenues were translated to Guest Satisfaction levels. The Palace consistently achieved a GSTS score of over 90%.

Played a leading role in project management from day one under the guidance of General Manager. Took over the Project Management Team when the hotel was open with 90 Rooms and opened another 125 Rooms in record time to ensure the project is completed as per the deadline. Personally managed the complete projects take over and all associated snagging..

Managed a smooth and effortless transition form “InterContinental The Grand” to “InterContinental The Lalit”.Responsible to identify operational flaws and lead various process improvement teams (Total Quality Management).“Quality and Continuous Improvement” Leader for the Unit.Successfully developed Brand Standards for The Lalit which was later adapted to.

Project management and Pre Opening of first Novotel in India and the only custom built Convention Centre in India in record time. (15 months from Ground BreakingDefined and user tested all operating standards for the hotel, especially Front Office, Housekeeping and Fire, Life and Safety.Established the House keeping department in the absence of Executive.

Hired to effectively manage the transition from Viceroy Hotel & Convention Center to Marriot HyderabadCoordinated with the projects team and successfully did the transition. Scheduled inventory transfers from Operations to Projects and Takeover from Projects to Operations. Selected and sourced all FF&E, Operating Systems and Equipments for Marriott.

Selected for the coveted position of AFOM (Independent Charge) of India’s highest ARR and Rev Par grossing hotel, from among peers and seniors. Under direct supervision, grew the GDS productivity from 18% to 28% at an ARR of 16000 Rs. And also grossed the highest Average rate of 14700 for the year.
