This position built on my previous role with University of British Columbia, with a focus on the Engineering department. Approximately 5,000 domestic and international students relied on me to develop, evaluate, and assess academic advising services that would aid them in their academic success, career evolution, personal development, and retention with the University. This position further developed my passion to assist people in finding rewarding career plans.

My role in recruiting international students for UBC was dynamic, energizing, and challenging. I built the international recruitment strategy from the ground up - from identifying suitable prospects on a global scale to the execution and evaluation. Along with the branding, marketing, and community engagement, I was responsible for the learning and development of my students in Engineering.

Presenting the benefits of attending the University of Alberta and strategically planning how to increase enrollment were two of my main responsibilities in my role as National Recruitment Manager. This job involved a lot of traveling and presenting about the U of A at events and expos. This job built my sales, marketing, and strategic planning skills. During this same time I participated heavily on the Alumni Advisement Committee and volunteered as a mentor in the Pi Beta Phi sorority.
