With a passion for pushing the boundaries of science and contributing to life-changing discoveries, I have 11+ years of hands-on experience across various research and development projects in the biopharmaceutical industry.Current Role:Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Wockhardt Research Center in Aurangabad since July 2021, I am actively involved in upstream process development, optimization, and scale-up studies for cutting-edge projects. My responsibilities encompass the development and production of the Adeno Virus-based Sputnik Vaccine in HEK-293 cells, along with Insulin analogs like Glargine, Lispro, Liraglutide, and Aspart.Key Contributions:In my previous role as an Assistant Manager at CPL Biologicals Pvt Ltd, a joint venture of Cadila and Novavax Inc. USA, I played a pivotal role in the upstream process development and optimization for Flu, Rabies, HPV, and VZV using SF-9 cells. Additionally, I successfully produced Virus-like particles (VLPs) for Flu, Rabies-G, HPV, and VZV using the Baculovirus system. My involvement in scale-up studies utilizing GE Wave and Xcellerex-XDR bioreactors contributed significantly to the advancement of these critical projects.Expertise in Bioassay and Bioanalysis:During my tenure as an Associate Scientist at Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. - Biopharma Division, I demonstrated proficiency in developing, qualifying, transferring, and validating bioassays and bioanalysis methods for various immuno-biologicals, including Cytokines, Hormones, and Monoclonal Antibodies (Mab's). I also actively contributed to the development and qualification of ELISA-based binding assays, cell-based assays, and impurity assays, further enhancing capabilities in characterization, lot release, analytical similarity, and stability testing.Achievements and Recognitions:Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my dedication and contributions, earning accolades such as Shining Star, Avengers, and spot awards.
