Roles & Responsibility:•Netting off the Requirement and placing the purchase orders to 3rd Party Vendor/Affiliates after every Sales & Operations plan’s MRP run output, •Coordination with Suppliers, EXIM team, Forwarders, Transporters, Warehouse and Quality department for the timely availability of Raw material,•Timely arrangement of shipping docs to fasten the custom clearance process•Measuring the supplier performance based committed delivery days, quality, packing… Show more Roles & Responsibility:•Netting off the Requirement and placing the purchase orders to 3rd Party Vendor/Affiliates after every Sales & Operations plan’s MRP run output, •Coordination with Suppliers, EXIM team, Forwarders, Transporters, Warehouse and Quality department for the timely availability of Raw material,•Timely arrangement of shipping docs to fasten the custom clearance process•Measuring the supplier performance based committed delivery days, quality, packing etc.•Reviewing & revising the Supply chain planning parameters like Safety Stock, Lot Size, Minimum Order quantity, Lead times and Forecast etc,•Review of ABC Items , FSN (Fast, Slow and Non-moving ) items, Strategic stock items based past demand history and future forecast requirement,•Reviewing Slow moving and Obsolete items and finding opportunities to liquidate Excess and Obsolete Inventory on efficient and effective way to avoid inventory discards due to self-life expiry.•Discussion with Demand planner about the Seasonality Factor and to ensure the right forecasted requirement is loaded in ERP System before placing the purchase order with Supplier,•Rescheduling purchase orders (Expedite, Pushout, or Cancel ) as per customer request after communication from customer care team•Proactively communicating to Production planner about any delay of Purchase order arrival status due to forecasted demand and rescheduling the production plan,•Reviewing the existing INCOTERM and recommending the profitable INCOTERM to the global purchasing team Compare rates and find opportunities to reduce transit cost for import shipmentKPI:•Ensuring the timely plan and delivery of purchase orders,•Meeting target of inventory discards,•Reducing the average inventory carrying cost ,•Reducing the In transit cost, Show less
