I began working as an editor and writer in 2009. I graduated with a BA in English literature from Sophia College, Mumbai. I worked as an archivist at TIFR, Mumbai and editorial assistant for IIT Bombay’s PR and Alumni Associations department. I trained as a storyteller and library educator, setting up libraries for over 50 schools in Tamil Nadu and conducting literacy workshops for hundreds of teachers. After doing an MA in Education from Azim Premji University, I taught English to middle-schoolers in Bangalore and edited children's literature at Pratham Books and Eklavya. During my MA, I worked extensively with the management and leadership on the PoSH law and its interpretation in the university-as-workplace. This gave me insights into legal interpretation and gender experiences across different constituencies. These days, I research law, culture, psychology and serve as an External Member on PoSH committees of close to 50 companies across India.
