Life has its own plan, always. Master's was never in my plan but today i am here pursuing my masters in Information Technology and Management in one of the top well Reputed universities in USA, Naveen Jindal school of Management at UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS. It's been a month in USA and i am astounded by the level of encouragement and support I am receiving from the university and everyone around me. Being a middle class Indian girl and flying all over to USA is undoubtedly one of my biggest life steps. I'm glad I took this action and am looking forward to a fantastic and exciting career ahead. I had Successfully completed my Bachelors in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and science in 2022 As an Information Security Analyst at Cognizant, my role extended beyond monitoring to conducting thorough risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures. I led incident response efforts, addressing new challenges with creativity, adaptability, and attention to detail. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role was witnessing firsthand how our efforts directly contributed to the company's security posture and overall success. Our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity not only protected our clients but also fortified Cognizant's reputation as a trusted industry leader.In today's rapidly evolving threat landscape, the role of an Information Security Analyst is more critical than ever. Currently pursuing a Master's in ITM with a major focus on cybersecurity, despite never planning for it initially.Throughout my academic journey, I've actively participated in cybersecurity events and obtained relevant certifications, including a cybersecurity certification degree. I've delved into subjects such as security fundamentals, cloud computing, IT audit and risk management, and digital forensics, gaining both knowledge and practical skills.Additionally, I'm a proud member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and recently volunteered at the 19th Audit Fraud Summit, where I earned my first 8 credit CPE.
