As a Travel Data Surveyor intern, my main responsibility was to collect and manage trip data using various survey methods, such as online surveys, phone interviews, and in-person interviews. I collected information about the origin and destination of the trip, the mode of transportation used, the purpose of the trip, and the duration of the journey.Once I collected the data, I managed and organized it using software tools such as Excel. I made sure that the data was clean, accurate, and complete, and that it was appropriately formatted for analysis.After organizing the data, I analyzed it to predict the traffic flow in a particular region. This involved identifying patterns and trends in the data, such as peak travel times, popular routes, and common destinations. I used this information to develop models and make predictions about future traffic patterns and congestion levels.To be successful in this internship, I needed strong analytical skills, a good understanding of data management, and proficiency in using software tools like Excel.
