Roles and responsibilities Developing, implementing, and monitoring the procurement strategy, policy and procedures for an ODM supplier base of 12 suppliers with a spend of 70M$ (INR 515Cr) in India and a Global spend of 20M$ (INR 147Cr) pr for Brazil and Mexico.Developing and implementing strategies for effective negotiation and management of strategic contracts and suppliers.Leading a sourcing team of 3 buyers to manage day to day operations for India & Latin America region, including project implementation, creation of supplier’s and regional scorecards, Financial targets and results reconciliation, KPI monitoring and Global transformation activities.Delivering YOY cost saving and reconciling financial targets and results with the Finance team.Setting bottom up goals such as YOY spend, cost reduction, DPO and compliances, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and aims.Collaboration with Marketing and architecture, ensuring compliance to finance and government regulations.Managing daily production and smartchain to ensure timely production as per S&OP forecasts at 3rd party suppliers. Responsible for developing or rationalizing supplier base to support the strategic aims.Leading and driving initiatives that deliver improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities.
