My journey in this exciting field has spanned over 15 years, during which I’ve had the incredible opportunity to lead and innovate in both academic and entrepreneurial settings.I began my career at Multimedia University (MMU), where I played a key role in nurturing the next generation of data professionals. As a leader in the university, I was fortunate to collaborate with brilliant minds, helping to develop programs that bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Guiding students through hands-on projects and research initiatives was not only fulfilling but also reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education. Beyond that I had the opportunity to interact closely with corporate leaders through industry-led and/or research-led projects. This made me realize that there was a wealth of opportunities to apply academic and research insights to real-world challenges. Encouraged by friends and family to step beyond my comfort zone, I made the leap into the entrepreneurial space. Currently, I serve as the Lead Data Scientist and Director of Data & Analytics at Valiantlytix Sdn. Bhd. Here, I’m immersed in a dynamic environment where I lead talented teams in architecting data solutions that tackle real-world business challenges. In my role, I focus on empowering my team and clients alike, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
