Duties and Job responsibilities: Perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections and safety enforcement for The contractor as per USACE EM-385-1-1 Safety & Health requirements Manual/OSHA requirements. HSE management: implementation and development of HSE-MS, internal audit Organizing the site safety procedures for the construction, Programming of the clearances, check of medical fit forms, HSE & fire fighting training Check of the work in the site construction, Conduct Training for new employee Safety indoctrination and periodic Safety Training to all employees. Prepare appropriate Activity Hazards Analysis (AHA)/Risk Assessment (RA) for all work activities. Investigation of Accident/Incident and suggest the remedial measures to senior management  Management of permits to work: Hot work, entry in confined space, work at height, risk assessments, and co-activities (Simons)  Management and issuing of PPE, lifting tackle and specific held gear, car’s & machine certifications,  Management, development and implementation of HSE audits Responsible for making daily inspection and also reporting to the Project Manager.  Establish and maintain a health and safety program.  Ensure that subcontractors are obliged by contract to comply with the constructor’s Safety program.

 Conduct Safety indoctrination Training for new employee. Conduct daily toolbox talk before start of the work. Inspect the jobsite before and after the work as per Various Safety work permit. Responsible for the safety of employee as well assets of the Company. Housekeeping in stores & Yard off/onsite. Periodic Inspection of Fire Extinguisher & Tagging system. Educate workers on Fire Awareness & motivation of all personnel regarding Safety measures. Inspection of area to find out unsafe condition/unsafe action and report all potential Safety Hazard  For corrective Action & submit assessment on Safety measures to the manager for immediate action. Conduct Safety Inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for normal operation and report Reporting defective PPE to the manager for immediate action. Fuel Spill/Gas leakage or any other emergency within Fuel and construction
