I am a spatial data expert and geophysicist. I believe that the solutions of many of the problems we are facing today build on a foundation which incorporates geodata. I work to produce geodata, strive to make them as easily available as possible and try to boost the effect of hidden data treasures.With a background in marine geophysics and ocean mapping, I have been working with GIS technology for the last ten years: common proprietary as well as open source GIS platforms, spatial databases, interoperability in complex geographic IT solutions and programming in various languages. I strongly believe in open source software and open data, including their value for business.
